Make a Miniature Quilt by hand - 4-part COURSE

Introduction to hand-pieced patchwork with this miniature hand-pieced quilt. Hand quilting is a deeply satisfying and mindful craft that connects you to a centuries-old tradition. Wednesdays in May: 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th | 2-5pm

Over 4 Wednesday afternoon classes, you will learn:

• Elements of a patchwork quilt
• How to cut the pieces for the block
• Block assembly
• Finishing the quilt

Requirements:

• Rotary Cutter, ruler, pins (or clips), thread snips and scissors
• Thread for hand piecing, hand sewing needles
• Background fabric 0.5m
• Fat 1/8th bundle 8 pieces
• Wadding
• Backing - fat quarter
• Binding - 0.25m
• Finished size 47cm x 43cm (18.5”x 17”)
