Learn to Crochet - for Left & Right handers CLASS

Unwind from the daily grind - learn to crochet with our two Michelles!

Michelle and Michelle will help both left-handed and right-handed learn the gentle art of crochet.

Learning to crochet is both fun and relaxing because it allows you to create something beautiful while unwinding from the stresses of daily life. The rhythmic movements of looping yarn through a hook have a soothing, meditative quality, helping to calm the mind and improve focus. Watching a project take shape—from a simple chain to intricate patterns—provides a satisfying sense of accomplishment and creativity. Plus, crochet is incredibly versatile, letting you craft everything from cozy blankets to adorable stuffed animals. Whether you’re stitching solo or joining a community of fellow crocheters, it's a rewarding and peaceful hobby that brings joy with every stitch.

Run over three consecutive Tuesday evenings (6th, 13th & 20th) from 6-9pm in May, here at the Crafty Peacock Studio at 300 Stewart St, Bathurst. The Course tuition includes a ball of Sierra yarn (your choice of colourway) and a 5.0mm Clover Amour Crochet Hook.

In these classes, you will earn how to:

• Chain, Single Crochet, Half Treble & Treble
• Front post & Back post
• Joining techniques
• Make a simple granny square
• The basics of a scarf, for you to finish

Please ensure you can attend all classes, as no refund can be offered if you miss a class.

• Notebook and pen
• Thread snips
• Bag for your project

If you want to expand your project, additional yarn and accessories are available for purchase in store

Terms & Conditions

1. Unfortunately no refunds are available once this class is purchased. We are unable to offer make up classes if you miss a session, so please ensure you are available for all dates in the course.
2. If you have to cancel prior to the course commencing, if we have a waiting list, we will offer it to the next person and offer you a full store credit, or a 60% refund of the class tuition. The Kit is not refundable, once taken.
3. We reserve the right to cancel this class if for any reason we are unable to proceed. We will offer you a spot in the next available class, or a full refund if none are upcoming.
