Beginners Make a Pinwheel Quilt -One Day CLASS

Introduction to patchwork quilting with this easy quilt - Learn basic patchwork techniques in this one day class.

Patchwork is a joyful blend of creativity, precision, and storytelling. As you piece together different fabrics, you create unique designs that hold personal meaning and charm. Beyond the artistic fulfillment, patchwork sharpens problem-solving skills, boosts patience, and provides a soothing, meditative escape. Whether you're crafting a cozy quilt or an intricate wall hanging, the process is deeply rewarding—and the end result is something beautiful and tangible to cherish or gift. 

SATURDAY 24 May | 10am-3pm

In this 5-hour workshop, you will learn:

• Elements of a patchwork quilt
• How to cut the pieces for the block
• Block assembly 
• Instructions on how to complete the quilt (a second session will be offered later in the year for those who wish to quilt their quilt themselves)

Requirements:

• Assorted fabrics for the quilt top (this is a Fat Quarter friendly Quilt)
• Sewing Machine
• Rotary Cutter, ruler, pins (or clips), thread snips and scissors
